We thought we would loose him a few months ago, but he wasn't ready just yet. This time he was ready. He had gained his weight back from when he was sick with the ulcer and went peacefully in his sleep. It was his choice and he went without suffering. I will miss my little Joe Bear.

Hugs I am so sorry for your grief right now but Joe made a good choice. He recovered enough to look good and give you heart's ease. He had his memories all chosen and made them all come true for you...Then he did what every companion friend wants to do, he lay his weary self down and went to sleep in his own bed, and slipped home peacefully with his friends waiting for him at the Bridge. What a welcome he had there! Once again full of life and health and able to do everything he could do as a healthy young fuzzy, he is well at last. Just know that while you slept, he crept in to take his bit of your heart to keep as his pillow at the Bridge and to make room for him to curl in when he comes back to visit. Be at peace

Little Joe Bear, may your journey over that bridge be safe and swift. May you be well met by all of our ferrets since passed. Many hugs dear I am sorry to hear this, he is a gorgeous sable boy, I love the freckles on his nose.
