--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today I lost my precious Max who was 6 years old. He was my lil boy in a ferret suit. I knew when I saw him this morning that he was dying. He had adrenal disease. Ive been expecting this for some time but he had been eating and drinking his water and seemed to be doing ok. I am very sad of course but I know hes at Rainbow Bridge playing with all his friends and waiting for me to come and take him over the bridge.

Rocky, I am so very sorry to hear that your little Max has gone home. Just know that he is well at last and in the full glory of his youth... He is dooking around meeting all his old friends and many new ones and having a wonderful time while you wait to join him. For him, it is but a moment while you need to struggle with him being on a different level now. He will still return to curl within your heart at night and let you know he is well and still a part of you... be at peace

Many many hugs to your aching heart right now. May your journey be safe and swift over that bridge Max, come back often to visit and bring with  you many happy memories that warm the heart. Again many hugs I am sorry for your loss.

Thanks for all your replys.  Every time I look at his cage I get tears in my eyes.  I miss him so much.  I want to get another ferret but it wont be Max.  He was very special to me.  I will always miss him.
